The Corvo Class Galaxy Exploration Cruiser was conceived and built by Starfleet Command in the earth year 2296. The U.S.S. Corvo (then NX-12914) was created for long duration galaxy exploration missions in our galaxy. After a successful first year, the USS Corvo received her official NCC-registry (NCC-12914). 11 other vessels are currently planned for this class between 2297 and 2299. The Corvo Class may seem to heavily armed for a research vessel, but as there are many unknown species yet to be discovered, there is no way of know how many are hostile.
