Here's a picture of a creature which I made up. It appears to be a mixture of a cat and a fox. Code mane: Solar.
This guy is special because he literally shines from inside, produces ultraviolet like the sun. That's he's special ability, that's what their species are unique for. The more love they feel the brighter light they derive.
Cubs are born all white and learn how to control emotions from their parents. That means that if the solar's psychological wealth is unstable there's a risk they can "burn out" emotionally and turn dark.
Solars' light can cause damage by lighting up so brightly that it literally blinds! Despite the destructive effect solar foxes can heal serious injuries by giving their energy to the needy.
