Meet Germinal, commander of Salograd's Centurion squads.
He runs on aether (that is, I'm trying to rationalise including a cyborg in a Steampunk scenario without sticking a big fat boiler on its back).
His chin and mouth are kind of important for his look, so I'll have to draw up something where they're visible as well.
Criticism is appreciated.

I think I understand what you mean by statically balanced...This is one of my default character showoff poses (minus the arm positioning), and he's in the dead centre of the image... I should probably have added some more clutter or a little perspective to the BG to give it a little speed, or just made the lighting more dramatic...
Thanks!
Thanks!
Émile Zola, French writer, extremely well known for his numerous books about the lives of the members of a family he dug from his mind - all take place at the beginning of the industrial revolution, over a few decades perhaps (and that's actually when Zola lives, so no surprise there). Some are known as true masterpieces, namely La Bête Humaine (lit. The Human Beast) and... Germinal (translation is obvious).
Hence the comment.
