result of the commission auction i posted before valentines day. :)
stripetail won the date with Gabe and gave me the choice between something steampunk themed and asian themed. I gladly grabbed the asian theme because i LOVE the clothes *_*
I have to say i never did chinese Hanfu :> but they're quite beautiful, i think even more than kimono because they look more.. light and not so heavy in fabric.
So Gabriel and Syng have a date at one of the finest places ever. :> .. the tea house. I love tea... and dim sum look soooooo goooooood~.
I noticed a dim sum restaurant thingie near where i live and in case i can save enough money i will go there for sure! mmmhhh... those dumplings.

I look absolutely adorable and happy in this and I love it to death. The lighting makes everything invitingly cozy and warm. Hanfu is great, but I am biased ヽ(*・ω・)ノ Usually I look quite stabby and avoid people like a skittish linsang ~(-_-)~
Xiaolongbao is one of my favorite dim sum dishes. When they make the buns, they put a gelatin cube of rich broth with the meat filling before sealing the bun skin. Then they're steamed to cook the contents, and the cube melts into a yummy soup that steams the filling form the inside! Just make sure you don't actually break the skin when you grab one >_< and when you bite into the bun for a mouthful of meat, a rich hot juice fills your mouth! They are amazing and everyone must try them!
I am steaming some frozen pre-packaged xiaolongbao right now. You can get them from most well-stocked Asian supermarkets, even the Japanese, Korean, or Filipino markets:) And I am steeping some oolong tea from loose leaves too in my yixing ^___^

aaah D: sadly in my area we only have one asian supermarket and it's .. like.. REALLY small. T___T
I've been looking for various stuff already but sadly most of the time they only have frozen fish and the likes. D: I already looked for some premade dough sheets for buns and gyoza... >_> meh.... making everything yourself takes sooooo muuuuch tiiiiiiiiime.

Aww *sends you a giant box of food and tea* \(^o^)/
Yeah it takes forever to make wontons, dumplings, and stuff. So much work for 15 minutes of nom :( It's only worth it if you make a crap ton and freeze most of it. I'm so busy and lazy nowadays I just buy them. I wonder if you can talk to the the store owner for special requests O_o I don't know how that would work though. "Hey sir! Order me some gyoza please!" *bleaty sounds*
