I like the one in the middle, the style reminds me of the PSP game Patapon, and everyone loves Patapon.

The bottom three are absolutely adorable!

Although, I would go for the middle one, and the middle right one. I would pic those since they have a lovely cartoony, simple charm to them. I would lean more to the middle left if its one of those abstract comics |3;

I think top left and the bottom left seem too... simple, and doodleish. I don't think they would sit well in a comic ( even if its a simple comic style your looking for )

But, thats my opinion, though =x

Top row middle, or that one in the lower right quarter that's between the second and third vertical columns. They look like they're expressively versatile and visually appealing while still being easy to draw.

Then again, what do I know?

The upper far right and lower far right grabbed me the most. They have the most graphical appeal imho, and the eyes on the upper one are very soulful.

I love the three in the bottom right, for the BIG adorable eyes and the all black with white highlights look is really cool. I think that having big eyes with big pupils works well, and little tentacles too looks cute with a larger body.

I like the one in the middle of the bottom 3... does that make sense?

I like the big eyes and sort of "pouty" innocent look she has and the curly little tentacles.

I would say either the left bottom one or the one next to it (also on the left, in the middle row) if you want to go with spunky. I also like the far right one on the bottom ^^

I agree with Fallimar. Those three seem the most expressive. Top right, too.

I love them all, but the bottom three -- especially the one in the middle -- make me go "SQUEE!" the most. :D

I'm torn between the one to the bottom left and the one north-east of it. I love their manic expressions.

I like the bottom three, and the top middle.

I like the one on the bottom-middle. I like the way its eye is done.

The bottom-left one or the top-right one in the corner. Most expressive looking ones I think. :)

I particularily enjoy the one which makes her look like Snuffalupagus.

My vote goes to the bottom middleish (slightly left of center) one. Stylised and cartoony, but not just an outline. For a spunky heroine character I think it's the most appropriate of them all. The black ones don't lend themselves to a character like that so much---they suit more villainy types, or perhaps anti-heros, or darker resistance type heros (think the Matrix), etc. You get the idea.

I would have to say the second in the top row. I think it gets the character's personality across, and it's not such a drastically different style as the others.

I would have to agree with many of the others. the bottom three. With the slight shading and expressive eyes, you can have a much greater range of expressions and emotions that could help tell a story without having to add words.

okies. I had the monies back when i commented. but ive gone to the ER 3 times in 2 weeks, i have NO money now. all my meds and stuff sucked it up. so im just going to use the one i said when im feeling better.
