Well, I do have a couple exceptions.
Here's a list of some of the comedies I like:
• Home Alone 1 & 2
• Ghostbusters
• Joe Dirt
• Spaceballs
• Raw (An Eddie Murphy Stand-Up)
• Beavis andButthead Do America
I do have more comedies on my list; the comedies I'mreferring to are the modern comedy films. :/

I've read literally every single Star Trek book ever. I started when I was just a kid. I'd spotted some Trek books in my Jr. high school library. They were a few of the very first works of fiction ever published. After that I pretty much devoured every book I could get my paws on. 'Uhura's Song' is my fav (my heart breaks knowing that there were two more books planned that will never see the light of day). My uncle Ray collects them. He's got nearly every single Trek related book published in his collection, and I've spent quite a bit of time over his house reading his books.
"Kernals" - "Eternal" Just that connexion alone is fabulous.
There's something beautiful about the films of the era alluded to; something memorably cheesy, some bizarre essence that every big-budged film that came after, every genre, took a nod to.
Film is a wonder. The cinema? Very much more so.

I try to avoid being 'clever'. Any time I think I'm being clever I'm messing up. While my writing contains a bit of purple prose, I think it manages to work because of the sincerity involved. It's simply the best way I can come up with to explain a feeling, some times. With my poems I try to keep it simple but even though the "burn eternal' part could seem a bit too lofty for the piece I think it's what it needed.
I really love your feedback.
