yeah it was a toss up between the original from operation moongate or the tangram version, but what can I say, Oratorio tangram rocked.

But if its really speed you want, you ought to try the 747a8 White Knight Temjin.

I so can't remember the name for the life of me, but the skeleton like fighter in the Virtual On game with the purple scythe was my fave. =3

specineff. primary weapon was a little overpowered but I loved using him when I felt like setting up ambushes with his floating orbs

Oh yesh, loved those! And of course, even though the self-destruction held no practical purpose, if only to deny the opponent a grin on his/her face with a final blow.

If I remember correctly, when you activate the self destruct you have thirteen seconds of invulnerability before you die, although I could be wrong.

As I recall, you can die before it goes off. It's been so long though, I don't recall either. =3

Thanks Since they never really show what a virtualoid pilot's flight suit looks like I decided to extrapolate some design elements from the temjin itself, the gundam flight suits and the humar outfit from PSO.

I'm not sure how I feel about Sonic there, but Temjin is definitely win. I can't remember the specific name of it, but after playing Marz I really got attached to the one Temjin with the dual rifle and the cannon on it's shoulder.

Virtual On looks like a Gundam Rip-off

Funny you should say that, because the lead mecha designer for the game was non other then Hajime Katoki. Most of his works include Gundam 0083, 8th MS team, Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz and a few others I can't remember right now

Sadly I'm not too familier with Virtual On. Mostly because I can't recall ever seeing it here. But since it's SEGA I know it's bound to be something reliable. Although I'm guessing their AM2 are the ones behind it. :S

In an epic Sonic fanfic I've been dreaming up for over six-to-eight years now, I've not only taken the SatAM Freedom Fighters over 2000 years into the future (Neo Mobius), but have even hooked them up with their own mechas for heavy duty combat missions . . .

But I such at drawing real good mecha bots like this, on top of the fact I can't focus the images of each unit clearly enough to draw in the first place.
