Direct painting huh? Nice work, this is quite good.

"Direct Painting" meaning no pencil, no plan, one layer - It didn't stay that way as i used some luminosity layers, but the actual painting remained on one layer.

Looks good even without the detail. Sort of lends itself to a dreamlike state. Plus it's fun to try new things.

Dreamy was the mood being aimed for...Added her enigmatic expression to that - she seems to be looking at the viewer, evaluating him/her or remembering something - somewhat lost in her own reflections...And then there is the place. There seems to be a small wall behind her, orchids or something planted in front of her - but what looks like an empty field of grass or sage, possibly desert etc stretching off to bare mountains...uis this place at the edge of a community or out there all by itself....etc...sort of mysterious...
