It's been a long time coming. Finally I have a visual reference to Selene's mother Celestus. Sadly the two wouldn't know each other for very long as Celestus passed away along with her mate Washu Arramore when Selene was still very young.
Celestus is of the holy dragon species. Not very many of this species ever lived. It took many generations of specific merging of dragon species to finally get a holy dragon out of the mix. And she grew up to become the queen of them all. She had a long reign over the kingdom of the dragons and she was feared by just about everyone.
Non who apposed her lived to tell the tale.
I'm going to get a full on picture drawn up of her in the near future.
I'm going to add a full proper description to her here tomorrow. It's too late for me to write one up right now.

The horns above all else were the hardest to get just right on this one. I did the designing live together with the artist that was really the only way I could get it to look exactly the way I wanted.
And I figured you'd like this one ;) Celestus took inspiration from many many different sources. Amongst which a classical D&D black dragon ;)
