Man. You should've seen me even so soon as a year ago. It's all the drawing I've been doing here that's made me better! People never commented on my stuff on other sites, but when I came here and got such positive feedback, I started drawing more! In turn, I become a little better each day. :) It's cliche but it's true!
Well, I seem to improve as I draw it more, but really... Not very much. I'm just so used to drawing people, and have so little knowledge of animal faces that I can just pull out of my head, I'm just... Eh. It's hard. But, like you said, practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice. :<
