Dubloadz X ExtremeAction - B-17 Bomber
Dubmare's been with the family since, well, forever really. She helped out my Great Grand pappy in WWII keeping those Me 262s off his big bird, she was a hell of an escort, jumping around from hostile fighter to fighter physically ripping them apart. I mean, that's the most fun way to do it, right?

B-17's were RIDICULOUSLY robust. One of the few planes they could outlive its entire crew in combat.
The 17 in the fore front is a goner though. Engine fires were really no biggy since the 17's had internal fire extinguishers - whats damning is the tail. More than half of that tail section has been blown off which means the remaining structural integrity keeping the section attached is less than 50%. You can see the right vertical stabilizer and elevator are gone as well, which means the plane is going to roll pretty much no matter what. The centripetal force along with the increased drag from the damage and the fact that they're still in battle will see the entire tail detach rather promptly.

It's American. It's also a Boeing B -17(E? E/late? Do tell us the model version.) Of course the tail section took a beating, but it's a B-17. If it's missing a wing, an engine on either side are out, the landing gear is shot to shit, it will still land safely.
'Cause you Damn 'Muricans up there, escaping 'Straya.
