The Trisagion are angelic creatures who, when happy, have a call that sounds like "holy,holy,holy". Their torsos are elongated to hold inside of them their burning coals. These creatures are always born at an altar or shrine of some kind, where the prayers of the people form a small coal that brings life to the Trisagion itself. The burning coals are extremely sought after. They are used by the Trisagion to bless and heal other creatures by bestowing a little of their semi-immortal life upon them. Humans will use the burning coals to control the Trisagion, though, if they aren't kept burning, the coals will go out and the Trisagion will die. They remove their own coal, press it to their lips, whisper a prayer, and then press it to the lips of the person/animal they are blessing/healing. You can tell the happiness of the Trisagion by the glow of their halo.... the brighter the happier, the duller the sadder/angrier.
