This is a rather detailed pendant I made for my mate and I's two-year anniversary today. This is carved out of kangaroo bone, and tied with embroidery thread. The bead is a glass cube, and the thread is sunk into specially carved grooves in the feather-shape's 'point'.
The design was carved into the bone and given a light, purposefully-uneven acrylic wash to give it an ancient look.
Overall, the pendant is three inches long and less than one inch wide.
