It was another peaceful day in the land of fire the smell of flowers and oaken wood hung on the breeze, Genin exams a few months away as the village of konoha starts preparing to celebrate the coming of the fifteenth year of peace within the ninja world many villagers and ninja alike spending there free time to put up banners set up fireworks displays and readying the streets for the visitors and festival, Somewhere far far past the eyes of normal men a lone ninja climbs to the peak of mount fukumu with no support no safety equipment the grunts of a excited fox is whipped away by swift sharp winds.

Enter kit hyuuga a member of the well known hyuuga clan and future ninja master, Climbing the sheer rock face of mount fukumu kit focuses every nerve and cell in his body to the task at hand thrusting his body off small foot holds and loose rocks all the while keeping the expression of pure joy and excitement "Come on! just a few mooooooore....feeet! Kit says aloud to himself increasing his grip and blood flow through breathing techniques, just a few inches away from his goal a mighty gust of wind blew past and caused kit to become slightly off balance "GAHH!" Kit yelped as he just barely grabbed hold of a rock formation "Oh man oh man oh man!...." Kit chants trying to not freak out, As the wind died down kit swung his body weight slightly before launching himself off the rock he was hanging on to and with the greatest luck he flew up just a few inches over the rocky platform that was his goal.

Landing safely with the sound of his sandals tapping onto the solid rock peak quickly fell to his knees the expression of excitement and joy on his face through the panting and heavy breathing "haaa....hHHHhaaa....god this never gets easier..." kit complained slowly turning to the massive view of the whole village and its surrounding wilderness, Kit sits down upon the rock listening to the wind pick back up as he starts his meditation "there is always color..if the world turns gray i will be its bright color..." kit trailed off in his thoughts "Byakugan!" Kit yelled out within his mind as his kekkei genkai activates.

The world seemed to darken into a monotone shading as kit's eye's zoom and scans the village as a whole while training his visual range all the while chanting his personal mantra to remain focused, Kit's eye see much of the life in the village all working to make konoha pretty...but as his eye scan through the streets every so often see small groups in blank uniforms but upon seeing the group carrying large glass ball like objects thought they were just monks from the local temples outside the village "Mmm...silly monks.." kit's thoughts broke for just a moment before returning back to his focusing technique, Time seemed to pass by slowly but in reality was moving rather fast as kit's eye begin to strain from the prolonged use of the byakugan "ahhHH!" kit screamed in pain as he grabbed at his eye's to cover them as the byakugan is deactivated and the quick shift from prolonged monotone shadows to bright sun rays was acting as knifes to his eyes.

But as kit covers his eye's to block the blinding effect he suffers from the sound of explosions ring out from the village screams are heard on the wind with kit springing up to his feet eyes slowly adjusting back only to see billowing black fog and smoke coming from different districts of the village "Oh god no..no..no..no!..." Kit screamed fearing the worst for his friends and family before steeling himself for battle.
