Middle aged and heartbroken, alone and mournful, yet Huang Lang Yun is as skilled as any warrior with her innate talent and vast experience. Born in the mountains of Luoyang in the Tiantang de Liao Ya (or Heaven’s Fangs) Langren village, Yun was the single daughter of the village priest Huang Jia and his mate Huang Bai Cheng. Despite eternally grieving over her deceased mate, Lang Wen, Yun is sweet and protective to those pure of heart. She is the loving mother of Lang Shu, the young chief of her tribe. When she enrolled in martial arts training for Tai Lang Quan, she excelled to the top of the class, being the first in history to triumph over the master in their battle to determine if her training was finished. Her master was a wolf named Lang Wen, who was the tribal chief at that time as well as the village blacksmith. After accepting his offer to train with him one-on-one, she began to feel a romantic attachment toward him. Only a month later, she met him one moonlit midnight at the Monument Temple of their tribe's founder and Wen proposed to her with a beautiful platinum ring and a sapphire embedded into it, Wen made this token of love in his blacksmith shop, crafting it non stop until it's beauty was only matched by Yun's. They mated May 5, 1977 and were inseparable there after. For their fifth anniversary, Wen wrote a Haiku poem, or rather crafted her an elegant sword with the poem inscribed on the blade. She then named this sword Jinai Bao and became the top sword master in her entire tribe. After five years of this endless love, Yun was blessed with a young cub. At birth, the pup didn't cry or whimper; instead he merely opened his eyes and reached out toward Yun's face. Because of his calm and gentle nature, Yun named her pup "Shu" On February 25th 1997, Lang Wen was asked to come to America and help the citizens escape a heavily armed bank robbery happening in Los Angeles. Wen kissed his son and mate goodbye, but none of them new it would be forever. Wen's brother Zan accompanied him to L.A. but came back to China with Wen's bullet riddled body. Yun's heart shattered beyond amendment, but remained faithful only to the late Wen. Shortly after Shu became chief, he received a letter from a Langren in Wales asking for his help. Zan and his adopted vixen daughter Hirozuki Kitsune traveled to Europe with Shu, but only Zan came back. Yun feared the worst, apparently Hirozuki vanished suddenly when she saved Shu from a monster plaguing Wales and the young chief set off to find his cubhood friend. This devoted mother now travels the multiverse in search of her dearly loved son with her trusty Jinai Bao at her side. It is her dream that she may live to see the day when Shu and Hirozuki mate as her son so passionately desires. Only until she sees Shu find love and fall into good hands will she accept death.
