Tarkeada is a dance that is done in Bolivia, Perú, and northern Argentina. The music that accompanies the dance consists of flutes called "Tarkas" and drums. Tarkeada is often associated with the city of Oruro, Bolivia; but today there are various styles and it is practiced all over Bolivia and beyond.
Tarkeada is normally danced during the rainy season or jallu pacha, which begins on All Saints Day and ends during Carnaval or Anata.
The music that accompanies this dance is a lot of fun, and there are very few videos I have found where the music comes in nice and neat. I do however have some nice recordings in my personal collection, they are a joy to listen to. Here is a bit of Tarkeada:

(Note: If anyone who is Bolivian knows more about the history, please let me know, also correct me if I'm wrong on anything)
