Well, it's unpublished fact that Var has a darkside, that is unleashed when he taps into the power of his curse a little too much...
Well, this delightfully ridiculous idea came about when it was suggested that he taps into his curse and goes into rage mode while trying to ride an ordinary-sized horse (Var fitting on a horse at all is still somewhat preposterous, unless in a smaller form). Well, the poor horse finds himself woefully inadequate for the task at hand, carrying his newly found brute of a passenger. Rest assured, the horse will be fine, he just might not be walking strait for a while. XD
