More sketches of people encountered by the party in my Exalted game during their recent trip to Heaven. While in Heaven, the party encountered a number of the mysterious fate-twisting Sidereals, who guide history along its proper course and ensure that cause follows effect through judicious kung-fu.
Three of the Sidereals met managed to come out the other end alive, unimprisoned, and not missing. They are as follows:
"The Goddamned Lawyer": Chosen of Serenity (maybe) First encountered by the party a year or so earlier when he hired an assassin to kill them at a fancy dinner party. He swears it was all just a ruse to get them off and investigating mysterious goings ons elsewhere. He also managed to get everyone to show up at the Censors Offices just in time for him to use them as witnesses in a case he was prosecuting at the time. Though he swears that was just lucky timing. The party hasn't been buying it either.
The One In Red Robes: Chosen of Mars (without a doubt). Chief Sentinel and Guardian of Yu-Shan, The One in Red Robes has been hunting the party's Twilight ever since he first appeared incorporeal and hidden to Fate in Yu-Shan some two years or so ago. Despite trying to kill everyone multiple times, he proved to be their best ally in Heaven in that strange "How the hell does that work?" way Sidereals are so good at.
The Young Scribe: Chosen of Secrets(maybe) In a way, it was his fault the party was in Heaven in the first place. They tracked him back to the Calibration Gate after his first field assignment lead to the release of a Forbidden God, the destruction of a Realm exploratory force, and the near slaughter of countless others. (The mission was considered a tremendous success by his superiors). Shy, nervous, and nearly fainting with fear whenever anyone looks at him, he's certainly not tied up with all sorts of events and plots that would make the party want to kill him. Nope, not him.
And yes, they do all look familiar, don't they?

The amount of detail in your storytelling is refreshing. You've really worked to flesh out these characters, Beachfox.
I also enjoy all the personal titles in all these new pics (I've reviewed them all but just posting in this one because I'm lazy). You also have a clever way of working in a more modern feel to a cast of traditional fantasy characters.
I also have a fetish for the facts-&-figures feel of character bio works.

*chuckles* Unfortunately, I can't take credit for the modern-fantasy feel of the characters. That's a result of the Exalted world as a whole, particuarly their depiction of the gods and heaven. I'm just making my own characters within the framework the game writers set up. :)
I do have fun making them up, though. :) Even if I do need reams of paper to keep track of the cast these days. Thanks. :)
