Thanks very much! This and the other picture are the first leopards I've drawn in about five years, so it was an interesting challenge. I like big felines, though, so I'm always happy to push myself. ^_^

At the moment I'm thinking more Kadans, but I can do felines as well. I have a lot of horses to colour as well, though. I finished Cheiros and Aller, and I'll email them to you later. :D

*blushes* Not really. I've always been really conscious about using reference for my pictures; this one for instance is drawn straight from a book. So it isn't really my creation then, merely an imitation.

that part is easy silly... take the leopard and place him with a background. I am a big fan of actual complete pictures that tell a story. Take a peek at Dark Natasha's web site and you'll see what I mean.

I don't really know how to draw backgrounds. I mean, I paint, but never seem to be able to marry up my paintings with my drawings.

*chuckles... one of the reasons I try to write in as many different stles as I can is so I learn the do's and don'ts... you can do it...

I guess. If I had the patience. But when I start colouring digitally, perhaps I will learn to paint on screen like I paint on canvas, and then I'll be able to do backgrounds.
