Haven's version of therianthropy is more of an adrenaline and disorder. Any race can have it except for vanpires' and undead. The only way to get it is to be born with the disorder or contract it by being bitten by a therianthrope.
Most therianthropes take medication to suppress their adrenaline glands and maintain their lives'. Therianthropy usually increases the hosts' body mass and height by up to three feet. for example. JOSEPH, the main character of the story. averages at 6 feet three inches tall. But when he has an adrenaline surge he grows by at least two feet and gains a substantial amount of muscle mass while losing a chunk of his intelligence with complicated things'. The example above is earlier in his life before his mother was murdered and he joined the military.
