Honestly, why is it so hard for some people to just let artists make these kinds of decisions themselves without having to argue and nitpick about it? Helpful criticism is one thing, but when you complain about things like this that are really just your own preference and not an actual flaw, that's not being helpful in any way, and arguing continuously about it is probably just going to piss me off. It would be one thing if I had no good reason for these things, but I do. If you disagree with them, that's too bad, because if it's not art that's being made specifically for you, you really don't have any say in it. I am still open to suggestions about these kinds of things, but if I've already given you my reasons for why they are the way they are, told you I like it more that way, told you I don't like it your way, and told you I'm not changing it, then don't keep arguing about it. Just don't.
You like things the way you like them, I like things the way I like them. If we happen to like something the same way, great. If not, I'm not making you change yours, and you have no right to make me change mine.
Side note: I'm not necessarily mad at the people who have done this. It's just something that needed to be said.

wait she didn't i don't have a problem with that at all but i never thought she came at all and it never came to mind until now and it doesn't bug me at all and i don't understand why others do. do they think that she going to have a explosion of semen coming out of her. i'm like is that really something to complaining about really? in all its your choice what happens in the story and how it plays out. its free and no ones paying for it to be drawn. you take time out of you day to draw something you like and let people see it for free. they should be grateful i am grateful for everyone on DA or FA who post there art work on here for free so people can see it. if you don't like it don't read it. i'll say i do get disappointed here and there with comics and fan comics on DA or FA but i don't go out of my way to complain out. cause i can respect the artist and their choice. if anything if i had extra cash i'd give the artist a tip. but anyways next time anyone wants to complain about someones art or comic just think how much time and effort they put in to it and the fact you get to see it for free and don't have to play for and enjoy it for what it is and thats all i'm gonna say
Aye!!! I mean If a small detail is left out: Like say a key feature that makes the character that character.... Thats one thing... BUT to change the whole thing like style or the whole gift... Thats beyond limit.
I have a saying: IF its free then it was given to you out of the heart. This is something that artist could of used making money, but no they set aside time for you. Cheerish more then your paid art cause it will mean so much more then your paid art casue it has more dedication to it.

Hmm.. sure I suppose. but those are people are nitpicky to the point of... they ain't really worth it... not everyone is going to enjoy the comics. We don't need to please these people who can't figure it out. And in the end, arguing to them just makes the artist look stuck up and ridiculous sometimes.
In my eyes, the person who nitpicks to this extent is the one in the wrong, not the artist. I normally don't have actual arguments about these kinds of things; usually people will mention it, I'll explain my reasoning, and they'll accept it or at least just leave it at that. But occasionally I get people who just don't stop going on and on about it. I want to answer questions and give explanations for things, so I don't ignore it when it comes up. In my book, if I just ignored it completely, that would arguably make me more stuck-up. When I do get someone who won't shut up about it after I've given them my reasons, though, I will ignore them after a bit, because at that point it's not worth it.
OH MY GOD THIS!!!! I know I don't have people nit-picking my stuff like they do yours, but this is the same thing I say when I read their messages pertaining to your art!
If there is something you don't like or agree with...FUCKING DEAL WITH IT...damn people like that piss me off. Being curious as to why you do something a certain way in your art is fine..but after you get your answer...move on....its that simple....people are allowed to have their own head-cannons and explanarions/opinions on THINGS THAT DONT EXSIST!!!!! Damn Vi, im sorry you have to deal with dumb on a daily basis but im glad your not one to bend or falter what it is you do ^-^

TBH, I like your artwork. And you do what you want to with it. It is YOUR artwork. If someone doesn't like it, they aren't obligated to look at it.

This needs to be blazoned up on a wall somewhere. I'd actually take issue with the idea of 'good' criticism too, but only because I feel most people haven't learned how to give any criticism besides 'I didn't like it and therefore it's bad' and so should just refrain from it entirely.
