mm... No guys...
I'm half American and even though i live in England i spent a lot of time in Boston, Mass. and have an American accent due to... like... half of my family and my closest friends since highschool all being American. I don't have a letter "Tee"... it's "Dee" in my accent.

Depends on where in the US you hail from. I've heard New Englanders tend to speak a bit like the British, with non-rhotic 'R's and the like (pronouncing words such as 'car' as 'cah'). I've had people think I have an Australian accent, but to me, the Aussies have a distinctively different accent to us.
Aren't accents interesting?

I can confirm the "New Englanders" bit, as I come from New Hampshire, one of the New England states and people mistake my accent for British constantly, which can be annoying only because I don't think I sound the least bit British. I actually remember when I moved down to Maryland with my mom (I was still a kid though) I had to take speech classes because I wasn't pronouncing "R"s.
Yeah however they should realize I'm not British when I don't use terms such as "Flat" or "Lou" and other such primarily British terms. Meh, I miss New England too, I hate how much warmer it gets in Maryland in the summer, I can't stand the heat, was born in the winter in the colder north east of America so I prefer the cold, but anyway I'm rambling now so I'll shut up. ^^;
Actually yeah. :P Different areas of the US sign slightly different. At least from what I've seen. Only difference is you see it rather than hear it. xP
(As a side note, anyone who speaks American Sign Language can also speak French and Canadian sign language relatively easy. )
