Part 1, Part 2
One of these days, I swear, I will get a more active, colorful picture of my chakat. Until then, have a story and a picture, flaws and everything~
■ NanoOS: USERID F-102/M "Cora Valion"
Entry- title: "Rescue Operation Summary": It's been one hell of a day. First we get a tip that our enemies have broken through into another plane of existence, then we get news that they've captured something from said plane.. of course the Pact had to mobilize, as this could cause some massive instabilities. We had all of the Order homeworlds blockaded, preventing them from taking their 'cargo' to a place that the Pact has no jurisdiction, but they weren't heading for those worlds. Nay, instead, due to SynthCo spearheading the expedition, they were taking their haul back to Alpha Gemini. Given this news, I got in contact with my old squad there and had them mobilize with intent to intercept.
102 had me and a group of skrall operatives move out and head down to the planet in the form of a combat drop.. not my favorite thing in the world to do, as even after all this time, I've not fully conquered my personal fear of heights.. but strangely, this time around, I hadn't felt the same apprehension, like the drive to perform this given task was overriding the fear... Either way, through the midnight sky did we descend, myself and a couple of cyborgs, while on the ground moved out the Gemini Marauders, my old squadron. It didn't take us long at all to locate the transports.. but most disturbing was how they were transporting the supposed 'creature': in a standard NASCO black metal crate. This wasn't the first time we'd seen SynthCo use these crates, and now the entire Pact is buzzing about whether previous crates were carrying captives as well.. we'll never know about the past ones, but CS and the Pact will definitely have their eyes out after this.
Back on track, however, the group I was with made our advance and blew out the tires of the enemy transport, quickly readying ourselves for the ensuing firefight. We weren't outmatched, but we did have to consider our shots carefully, as to not hit the container. This task became easier once the Marauders arrived on the scene, applying assisting fire as Victor and Amanda procured the crate while the enemy was distracted, quickly toting it off the transport's tray and away from the fray. From here, we pressed our advantage and dispatched each and every one of those lousy SCo scumbags. We thought we'd gained victory, but things are never so simple when dealing with SynthCo, and off one of the cyborgs' frames would ping a round or two, the two of them turning to the direction of the projectiles and opening fire upon the wave of Users that had come to retrieve the crate. One of the confounded fools had a rocket launcher... at the time, I wondered if they planned to destroy the crate if they couldn't get their hands on it? Judging by where the wielder was aimed.. the answer seemed to be yes. Before I could so much as warn my squad, the projectile soared through the air and I closed my eyes, unable to watch what I thought would be inevitable. The explosion happened much earlier than I thought it would have, however, and when I opened my eyes, I saw a chaingun-wielding AMP, one of Victor's pet projects, standing there with some pretty severe burn marks on its chest and shoulder. Thank Tiamat for that. Following AMP's arrival on the field, we secured the crate and called down a Skimmer, and now.. well, here we are, with an unconscious cyan-blue Tigerkin-looking creature.

Cora Valion: "I swear, if something's happened to her, I'm going to destroy every last one of them..."
ZDX-T30 Unit#101: "Cora, you know the Pact doesn't smile upon holding grudges.."
Cora: "I know, I know.. but they tried to kill my squad, dammit."
101: "...Still.. if you do go that route, be warned that the Pact can't have your back there."
Cora: "I wouldn't have expect any different."
A few moments pass of silence broken only by the blips of the vital signs as 101 guides a swarm of Nanos to eliminate all traces of the tranquilizer from the being's system, before Cora rubs his forehead.
Cora: "Mrf.."
101: "What's the matter?"
Cora: "Just a headache... think all of earlier's action is finally catching up with m-"
101: "Hm?"
Cora: "That's... that's just weird.. the headache's gone."
101: "That is weird.."
The cyborg looks to the one laying on the sickbed almost as if she knew something the feline didn't.

■ CXT-GC-570_Senkari_II_NanoOS-AI intercepted transmission from SynthCo/De'kuvraki communication lines. Decrypting and displaying for all Nano-Users and upon select displays for non-Nano-Users.
User-S #045: Sallatin Basil, Chief of Research. SynthCo Xenology Expedition
Entry: Log #001 - Begin//
We are embarking upon a wonderous quest of discovery aboard one of the De'kuvraki's research/scout ships. I have gathered some of our best users and boarded the craft. What wonderous journeys await us? What scientific knowledge shall we unlock? God knows...and he won't tell.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
Log #002 - Begin//
While aboard the research craft during one of its many excursions, we came across an anomalous rift. Not a black hole, as was originally speculated, but a space-time rift. I know what you're thinking, "This has got to be some cliche scifi story." To be honest, that's my exact reaction to the computers examination. But no, this was a serious rift. What our scouts found there was...well, rather unique. I'll be brief, for we know not whether the Hikari can intercept this packet. But this discovery...it could bring us back to the lead as scientists.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
Log #003 - Begin//
We've managed to contain the beast. Its strength is incredible. During the ensuing conflict, I could swear I felt its anger... a preposterous notion, to say the least. One of our users managed to supress it with a tranquilizer dart. We locked the beast in a Straefoni dark matter containment field. I still maintain this things importance for science. Also, could we get an order of aspirin sent out here, most of our soldiers are complaining of headaches. We are en route to HQ as this log is sent.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
Log #004 - Begin//
The creature awoke and found itself unable to escape. Every bit of contact with the containment field saw the creature recoil from shock and burns. I saw smoke rise from its fur more than once. On an unrelated note, these headaches are becoming more frequent. The creature's anguished cries only served to worsen the head pains further. If this creature was not of such importance, I'd have it killed for annoying me.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
Log #005 - Begin//
The aspirin has arrived and the creature has calmed. Perhaps the beast resigned itself to its fate. Some of the lesser modified users are claiming to hear voices in their heads. Likely merely a side-effect of the headaches. I'm administering the aspirin to our users. As I walked past the beast, I could hear it mumbling to itself...sounded like English. Probably misheard it.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
Log #006 - Begin//
The creature is now settled enough to properly describe its features. Now, where to start... No, I think I'll make you wait to see it yourself. I will tell you this much, however: it is a peculiar and exotic mammal. I think you should find this creature very fascinating. For now, I must observe this creature's behaviors.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
Log #007 - Begin//
Blasted benefactors, how dare they not carry the equipment we need to conduct research on the creature right away. Due to this outrageous inconvenience, we are heading back to base. Also, it is worth noting that the Pact has started to move, they're blocking DK homeworlds. I believe it to be most prudent to have us a rendezous point established so that we can get the creature... well, I don't need to explain.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
Log #008 - Begin//
The point has been confirmed, our little captive has been put back under, only this time with heavy-dosage tranquilizer, with this, the thing is being set up for transit as we speak. Here is hoping that that Pact does not interfere too greatly with this operation. This is Sallatin Basil, until I get back to my office, signing out.
//Log End. Data packet compiled, encrypted and sent to SC HQ.
//Transmission ended ■■
