play R-Type. matter of fact, I'd suggest looking into Thunder Force 3 through 5 as well. They're damn good games.

to be honest I'm not particularly amazed. as a fan of the grenre, this makes me think of Euroshmups that attempt to be gradius/R-type. But most kinda bust their head in with bad design choices. that and apparently it's impossible to get passed gradius and R-Type level memorization.

But then that's just me.

OMG thank you for telling me the name of that game ive been trying to figure it out for like ever i know the NES version was called life force which i loved and i really liked the SNES version but it wasnt called life force and i have like every SNES rom on my computer so i never bothered to play all of them to see if i had it but i have gladius in my folder of SNES roms XD yay i can play it now , thanks :3

Another good shooter for someone with flash talent to see is the Darius series. Giant fish enemies. Neat concept, and adaptable to say, insects or anthros, or maybe robotic cosplayers.


Theme shooters are fun. Oh, ans the Shadowhearts was a request that when you destroy the bosses you get a sex scene, I knida agree, why not.

Aaahhh, Gradius!!, those were the old good times!!, the last PS1 installment, Gradius Gaiden was incredible, and the PS2 game, made by Treasure was awesome too
