I had a totally different ref sheet sketched out before 2014 even started but it had horrible anatomy errors that really needed fixing. And then I procrastinated, trashed it, and redrew the entire thing. Taxi!! In his new, remodeled, form.

There's only two big changes, and those are
--wings are now small rather than being all beat up; no primary feathers, just secondary and tertiary feathers, though they still cannot open
--Stripe now extends all the way up the body and wraps around the arm like a vest sleeve, but the amount of squares stays the same.

The design change is simply to make his fursuit more appealing rather than being a giant yellow slate lol! And I actually really like how he looks with this modification! Funny how such simple changes as stretching a marking a little farther makes such a difference in aesthetics.

Taxi Pony
He's based on a real pony breed, called the fell pony
Transgender pegasus, uses male pronouns
Is unable to fly
In an RP sense, he is a taxi driver ( dog cart driver if medieval, pedicab in modern settings )
If he's me, he's a dog groomer / hobby artist who got the name taxi as something of a joke
Almost always wears those glasses and a bandana, though the bandana can change, it will usually be red or orange
Can wear clothes, generally semi-formal kind of things like slacks and button-up long-sleeve shirts with collars; if drawn more realstically and more anatomically correct he'd practice chest-binding underneath his clothes
Tends to walk with a limp, but runs without it
Fastidious about his tail being brushed out but his mane can be any state of dissheveled
His mane changes lengths almost every time I draw him
His hands can be hoof-fingers or just plain hooves; if hooves he has "magic hooves" meaning he can still pick things up and maneuver things and no one knows how
Digigrade legs because plantigrade horses look really weird
Doesn't wear horse shoes
Tends to accidentally mimic the accent of whoever he is talking to
