Gimme five bees for a quarter.
Broken scanner means you get to see my photography.
I found an old nickel and I took a picture of it. And then I made it sepia tone, made it real grainy, and then to make it look worn I scanned a blank page from my sketchbook and increased the contrast until I could see the grain and I inverted its value and made it a masking layer. You still tell I used a digital camera to take the photograph due to the diagonal lines in the grain.
I found the nickel in my cash register, and I found another three nickels from the same year in the following week. Someone must have found them in a pair of slacks they hadn't worn in thirty years and spent them at my burger joint in a series of four outings.

Actually, it's likely just a fluke seeing that cluster. I still have pennies and the occasional nickel go trough my hands that have George VI rather than Elisabeth II. And I expect that we will see lots of coins with Elisabeth II throughout the reign of Charles III[1].
[1] Assuming he doesn't choose to reign as George VII, (very likely, specifically to avoid being King Charles), Philip I or Arthur I, (very unlikely, for obvious reasons).

IT SUCKS. Moving stuff is fine, I don't really own much except an extensive wardrobe, which I keep in my extensive wardrobe, currently lashed to the roof of a car considerably smaller than it is, all the other crap I sold before I moved or stuck in my "storage unit" (some chick's attic in Capitol Hill, she rents it out as storage space) but my new landlord is perky and friendly but grossly incompetent and the new apartment has been mine for a week but the old tenant isn't even done packing, and I don't see a truck anywhere, the stuff she has moved out is on the lawn under a canvas tarp. I was sleeping at my mother's for a while, but now for the past few days I've been sleeping on the old tenant's couch until she finally moves out. She's not taking too kindly to it but I don't care it's my apartment now.
