This started like a doodle to try a coloring style and ended like this, is not a wallpaper and there is no intention to be. that´s cause the original size of the image is pretty small. Was just a doodle full of rage and anger (don´t ask me why i just had a very bad night) so feel the rage of my Cosmos! lol
I know that Saint Seiya is not a vaery popular anime in USA, that´s cause was edited in a very horrible way for the American television and i understand why the people there hates it. But here in Argentina and some European countries was very popular.
Also this is not the most popular of the characters (anywere, everybody hates him) but me likes! because i feel indentified with him in some way....poor of myself |D.

lol everyone hates him? yu joke there? Saint Seiya was one of my fav anime until now. i started to watch it in 1992. unfortunately, they stopped to show Saint Seiya there is longtime before (at us, of course). in this time, Seiya and Shun was my fav heroes.

Lol i just head that the version in USA has some horrid edition work like...the blood is green, and Shun is a girl (wtf!? Omg!) so the most of the people there have seen the mexican version. (the people who can understand spanish so)

heh, i've never seen the anime before, but i might check it out. Love the BG, its so..well..empowering? i suppose would be a good word. And you do know theres a section here on FA dedicated to fanart and or anime art. but still very nicely done, and great to have you back here on FA ^ ^
I'm very sorry for the double post-- but looking at the full size image (brain fart... it's late here >_>;; ) I seriously believe it could be considered indistinguishable from an animation cel! While I'm being a moron... since I can't recall seeing any where, may I ask what your DA is? I think I just might have to watch you over there, too :)

seriously though, when someone says "non anthro fan art"..which i think was the warning..i tend to think more of balto orrrrr lion king.....since anthro...i think..means "pertaining to man"...

Mrowl... you made Seiya REALLY sexy *blushes deeply* I haven't seen Saint Seiya in YEARS, but I was so upset at how they butchered it for the US *cries*. They do that to almost all of the anime that they put on television.... it really really really really sucks. I rambled way off topic on this *mews sadly* but its REALLY well done, he looks beautiful!! Nice work, Blueblur!!
nah. Not everyone hates Seiya.... or .. at least I don't think they do. I personally love him to death XD I mean sure, he's always the one who kills the big boss, and yeah he always does it with Aioros' golden arrow but come on. it's always awesome XD

Ah, es Seiya!! Dame tu fuerza, Pegaso!!! Ja, Saint Seiya, (o Los Caballeros del Zodiaco para los que lo vieron por el ya extinto Magic Kids, como yo) es, lejos, mi anime favorito. No por nada mi nick es GeminiSaint :P
Ah, eso de que toooodos odian a Seiya no es tan cierto. De hecho, Seiya es mi caballero de bronce favorito, aunque todos tienen lo suyo. Ahora, si hablamos de los dorados, bueno, creo que no hace falta aclarar cuál es mi favorito :P

Me gustó mucho, pero oye, agrega a toda la banda pues, je,je, a andromeda, al fenix, eh... shiro? el del dragon, no me acuerdo del nombre y el cisne (y si quieres a nuestra amada Atena, que es por ella su deber de caballeros: protegerla en todo momento en todos los capítulos... con 3 finales distintos)
when i worked at toys r us for a bit..i remember the saint seiya figures were super popular amongst the collectors...so it's got to have had some audience i guess...tho...i never saw it on tv...closest bishounen sentai ish thing i had was Ronin Warriors...tho...still need to watch super-samurai troopers version >_>'

WOAW !!!!! You know I'm a tru Saint Seiya fan.... and waow !!! You made a great piece of Saint Seiya art !!! Almost a master piece !! the pose, the colourig, the cosmo .... it's really great !!!!

Saint Seiya is very popular in Brazil, too. It was airing on Cartoon Network some months ago, after so many years of absence (since, what, 1993 or something?). I don't think it's showing anymore, though. :(
I'm a big fan of the series myself. Right now I'm watching the Hades saga, but I haven't got very far (I stopped at episode 15 or something); however, I know what happens in the future, and I didn't like it. D:
