Dorrien:
Breathing in a lungful of air whilst he stirred, he nuzzled his nose into Morgan's hair beside him and smiled. An air of warmth held between the crisp clean sheets and their bodies was comforting as he reacquainted his body up against hers. With bare skin touch skin he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her towards him. The covers disturbed a little by the movement he caught a glance of her bare shoulder as it peeked from under the hem of the cover. He bowed his head and pressed a kiss to her shoulder knowing that she would be aware of it. After all she was always hard to sneak up on.
"Morning darl." He drawled as she turned her face towards him. He met her tired gaze with his own before closing them lightly as he pecked her lips for a kiss as well. Moving back and down under the cover he laughed a light rumble he nuzzled his way down her spine. Then when he reached the small of her back he diverted the trail across till he could nose her around the hip. He breathed in her strong scent. The night prior had been extremely eventful, and even then as he caught the smell of his own scent on her body did he really feel pleased with himself.
Nudging his head back out and breaking the sea of fabric he pulled it back off the side of his bed. Throwing his legs over the side and onto the floorboards he kept his head turned to her. Grinning he grabbed the cover and pulled it from her body, exposing her form to the cold air of the morning. He chuckled as he watched her squirm but was more than happy to take a few moments to soak up the picture of her behind. Whilst distracted by the perfection of her skin he didn't notice the different colour to his underwear when he picked them up off the floor. In fact he didn't notice that they were a different pair altogether.
Standing up as he pulled them on, the boxer briefs fitting him snugly, he furrowed his brow slightly as he heard her laugh behind him. Taking a second or two to figure it out, he looked down. Patterned on his underwear were yellow ducklings. He grimaced at the attire. He had a fear of birds, even when ironically he could fly with the use of wings that he would sprout from his back. One being an original, the other being man made as replacement for after his accident. Even though he could fly again his shoulder blade was scared from the number of grafts and the implementation of the replacement wing.
Not long before however Morgan had thought it to be a fitting test of responsibility if he were to look after a baby duckling, even though he despised the small fluffy bird that he insisted had to sleep in the kitchen in it's own duck bed. So then it started to become a trend and now and again Morgan would replace some of his things for her own amusement.
"Very funny." he chided, leaning on his hip as he looked at her. He couldn't hold his expression for long till he cracked a smile again. "I'll start getting breakfast ready then shall I?"
Leaving her to bask in her own glory on the bed he stepped out to leave the room. Knowing that Morgan's gaze would be trained to him, he purposely postured whilst in the hallway. "I'd take a good look if I were you, you won't see this view again."
Oddly appropriate for April Fools, but mostly I just wanted to draw Dorrien's butt. Then the duck print underwear came later and became a thing because it's just funny. And it made an opportunity to see how the scars would look like on his shoulder blades. Cosmetically he ain't perfect but damn I love my little Dorri.
