Hey gang. I'm working on game sprites for a mysterious project. Right now I'm trying to get back into the swing of it, and make some cute bunny sprites. They're actually going to be used as test sprites, so they're over-done, but it's also for art practice.
If you're familiar with pixel art or sprites, I could always use some good advice. If not... Well, does it look good? Is it obviously a bunny? Do the buck teeth look right? Oh and sorry it's so small, this is actual size for the game. If you want to give advanced criticism, please feel free to download and analyze my colour choices. ^.^

Though it's perhaps unrealistic to not have them so floppy as you do, people seeing a pixel bunny will expect ears to be extending upward. As it looks now (on my admittedly LCD monitor) it appears more as a cute mouse than a cute bunny.
You've got the cute factor down pat, though. :3

Mouse... defintely far more mouse than bunny.
When I used to try to make sprite figures back on my Apple II, I used to draw out the figure as a normal drawing on graph paper, and then checked off the boxes the line work crossed to make it a little easier to see what pixels I should use for the character outlines.

naawwww, you just gotta define the ears and bucked teefs alil more
im still trying to think about the best way to explain it
...
well the teefs should be alot simpler, just ad a row of pixels a hair darker (pun intended) where they begin from bunnyface
for the ears... i wana say triangular shadeing, to kinda...show off the flumped forward ears so they dont look liek a solid round mass
expirimentation is fun!
