RRNNGENEGNGHGHGENGENEHTNENGHETNENTENAFENAKTNARHA GOD i am slow.
ANYWAY here it is. Most of it is hand drawn, but towards the end as she achieved maximum huge I started testing out the new animation thing again. See how that goes.
EDIT: I am aware the crack in the machine kind of moves. After some events in a stream I kind of could not be arsed to fix it. I'll tweak it later assuming Flash behaves.

iDraw3 to do the actual spriting, Gimp to give it transparencies, Flash CS5 to put it all together (which is infuriating at times), Gimp again to make it a .gif, and Microsoft Gif Animator to tweak the frame times.
lD as for hiring, no idea. Long term projects and I have a history of not getting along. but who knows! It could happen.

I've been working on a project for 2 years and sometime soon, I could definitely use an art/animation buddy. You can see the trailer on youtube here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOI.....9432B52DAEE135
I remember using IDraw3 from many years ago back in my RPG Maker days. I actually got along with the program really well. Despite having an eye for newer and more modern programs, I found nothing that would easy sample and test animations as fluent as IDraw. I got got it again and can't wait to start cleaning up some problems.
Let me know what you think of things.

Alright, commenting time!
IT'S SO BIG. THE BIGGEST, SOOOOO BIIIIIG.
The background is a stunning touchup. I was expecting, like, a lil' box with lights in the corner that she'd use for her trigger, and you're like 'naw brah, I got this' and make a whole freakin' Death Star central. Whoo-hoo! The new effects in general - especially the lightning arcing over her body as she changes and grows, the totally awesome way the tail lightning bolt comes in - are all a welcome upgrade and terrific piece of work overall. The expressions are top-notch as she goes from 'aw yeah' to 'whoa wait' to 'GAH!' there at the end, followed by the whole 'I dunno how to feel about all this' at the very end are all super well done! She's cute, sexy, and all-around goofy.
For a couple bits of critique: the environment *does* feel a lil' bit lifeless overall without any animation. You probably don't need another forty frames of animation on all the background elements, of course, but a tip might be that you have lights switching from yellow to red and back again on a delay, or text appearing and disappearing on the computer screens to add some life to the background. Another issue I found is that the background is really dark in one wrong place - namely, right around where the tail comes out! Black on gray is REALLY tough to see, and I've struggled to see the transition there outside of right before it blasts the machine wide open because it's so tough to notice. A smaller thing is that the tail, being lodged in the machine, doesn't grow with her on her growth spurts, which means it looks a bit dinky overall by comparison once the whole thing's all done. (okay, well, dinky by my ludicrous proportions. Hee!)
Otherwise, hey, this was well worth the price all around, and hopefully you enjoyed making it as much as I enjoyed watching you make it! Thanks again for all your hard work!

AND NOW I WILL REPLY TO YOUR COMMEEEENT.
Yes it's big. That was the whole point. lD I wanted to poke around macro stuff because, generally speaking, I have a couple of people basically whispering in my ear "MAKE IT BIGGER" and I feel like I have to deliver in some respect.
I liked the effects and the background. Though you are right, the coloring could be a bit better to add some contrast. And a bit of animation to it wouldn't have hurt all that much - hell I'd really just have to make some flashing light graphics and put those over the original lights. Bam, done.
I actually had frames for the tail growing, believe it or not. But they were very awkwardly put together. It was more just... thickening than actually growing, largely because I was reliant on the lightning bolt tip of her tail being lodged in the machine for it to work. And then I was like "BUT IT'S NOT GETTING ANY LONGER. HNNGGGHHHHH". So I did kind of botch that one up.
I WILL WORK ON IT and hopefully do better next time.
