Here's some earrings I'll be dropping off at a boutique/gallery. Since last September, every couple months I make another pile of earrings and bracelets for them to sell. It's fun getting to make a bunch of different patterns without constraint, and when I'm making this many things all at once I can get into a good groove and just keep churning them out. It's kind of meditative. And even though the consignment agreement is that the gallery gets half of the sale price (which seems to be basically standard), it's a simple enough arrangement and little enough effort for me that I'm happy to just get some money when they sell.
There are some more things that I made for this gallery, you can check out some photos on my Tumblr: http://armoreddragon.tumblr.com/post/81631240343
And this style of earring is available from me directly on my Etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/listing/1578507.....scale-earrings

ohh interesting. i like the ones on the end that look like they are shifting from gold to red kinda like a flame.
btw i was meaning to ask what style do you connect your chains in?4 or 6? Im just curious cause I was
thinking of taking what i had and making it into like a chainmaile glove but for somereason the style
i was using before isnt working out and the rings just bunch up.

The typical weave for the scales is a Japanese 4-in-1. Here's a video tutorial from the people who manufacture the scales: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dKD2n-kvVo
