I was supposed to be working on a trade and instead I did this ...I'm terrible.

I really like how this one came out, even the colors. I'm still not good with shading and stuff so it's rather haphazard and all over the place, not much with lighting and whatnot. I think what I like most is the wings, even with the coloring of it. I screwed up on the front hindpaw, I know it's too small. I tried redoing it over a dozen times and each time it got worse so I just stuck with what it is now.

Anyways, I don't have a species name for this guy yet. As the lame title says, his name is Jet. He, and all of his species, are about the size of a wolf. They are made for speed both and land and in the air. They aren't much for aggressive attacks, despite their sharp claws and beak. They can come in an assortment of colors, not just the blue and black like this fellow. Their eyesight and hearing is very keen.

I haven't thought of much else yet. I think he might be a character eventually made in my novel as well. Enjoy for now!
