You're a fan of IX too? I like how the game is basically a love letter to the original six Final Fantasy games.

Steiner's one of my favourite FF characters. I always took him with me, he does awesome damage and story-wise his character goes through a convincing arc.

That's what I liked about FF9 in general, the characters all grow and change as the story progresses.
Well except for Freya, whose story arc disappears entirely after disk one only to resurface in the epilogue of all places. And Red Amarant having next to no personality to speak of.

I kinda wish they'd do a director's cut of FF9 to finish the game proper.

At this point I don't know if i would trust SquareEnix to add on to the story. I herd some people are pretty annoyed with some of the stuff they added to FFX's story in the HD version

They added stuff? I thought it was just a 1080p version of the International version.

well they added these like I think they called em Radio Drama's that are suppose to take place after the events of both games. From what i understand they sort of undermined the stories in the games

I think FFX-2 already did a plenty good job undermining the first game...

well the Radio Drama's made both games pointless

Now I'm just really curious. Gotta look these up some time.
