Commission Pricing Sheet
Finally, finally, made one.
Full backgrounds are not included, they are add-ons. You do, however, get either a grey background for sketch commissions and your choice of a colored background for the full render, as well as a lighting choice for the full render (you could ask for colored lighting, yes.)

*hug* ^^' I just worry about overpricing and underpricing.
Ummm for both characters fully rendered, depending on the complexity of the characters will range from 120-150.
A choice of color background and lighting comes with.
A speedpaint bg would cost 15 extra, but for two characters I don't recommend a full rendered because I'll get to do a lot with the surface area anyways (two characters take up more room, so less surface area to paint, basically.)

If you really want to get that much for your commissions you need to work on depth. There is no depth in these pieces they are all flat. When you look at a photo you can see the depth in it. These just look like a drawing. Also your proportions could use some work. Other than that though the blending of colors is good though.
I suggest starting at lower prices until you build up a little bit of a name for yourself before charging so much. Look at other starting out commission artists and compare your prices to their's. I know that when a friend of mine started doing commissions she had to almost rob herself to help get her started. She may have not gotten a lot at first but she grew and now she can charge a little more for her work. :)
You really have no right to tell someone how much they should be charging for commissions.
I don't mean to come across as mean, feedback is always good. But to tell an artist that they /need/ to rob themselves just to make a name is rude, and inappropriate. You wouldn't tell a doctor to work for minimum wage just to make a name for themself. It's wrong to tell an artist to do the same just because the skill sets are different.
And just because I am not a popufur artist, doesn't mean I don't have a name in one art circle or another. So you shouldn't assume.

I was just saying that the quality of the art displayed is not up to par with other artists charging the same amount who have a different skill level. I am not trying to come across as rude either. I am also not asking you to rob yourself. I was saying to advertise yourself and to maybe start out with a little bit lower price just starting out. My dad is a freelance artist and he had to do the same thing. He had to advertise himself and charge less than what he wanted when first starting out. Think about it truly as a business. Say you want to be making around 8$ per hour of work. You total up about how many hours it takes you to finish a certain piece say, three hours for a flat color, then you charge that much for a flat color, thats 24$ for one flat color. That's all I am saying.
