I have a question: Now that Thorax and most of the changelings have transformed into a new race, I wonder if your changeling wants to do the same.

Never thought of an alt design for him yet.

Perhaps it would help to ask yourself what your reformed changeling would be most like -- Thorax, Pharynx, or Ocellus? Admittedly, reformed changelings can overwhelm us with a rainbow of options.

Seeing as he's a really a standard drone, he'd probably be a mix of Pharynx and Ocellus. Cololful but not overly so.

Whatever you come up with, I'm sure it will be beautiful. Kindness has a way of making anyone's outward appearance look beautiful. (Conversely, cruelty has a way of making the most beautiful creatures look ugly -- even on the outside.)

When I think about it, reformed changelings are rather weird-looking creatures. It's their friendliness that makes them look adorable. For example, Ocellus looked kind of weird to me, but I figured I would warm up to her (and I have).

For now, I really can't do much to change him.

THanks. He's one of my most underutilized OCs really. At some point, I'm gonna give him an overhaul. But for now, this is him.

When I think of Changelings in their true form, I think of a creature much like what you have achieved here.

I am writing a loosely based MLP story in hopes of attracting watchers. I hope to eventually get enough interested people that I might start a Patreon. It would be nice to at least have it pay for the art I buy for my stories.

In the current story, Changelings look as yours above. But when dosed with the potent substance I call Pony Honey, they fill out, become round and firm and their holes fill in. What they need, is the love that only a Pony may provide. The feed upon it, lust for it and experience the greatest of highs from it. It is to them, the answer for their starved condition.

And it provides them with immense powers and health- something they had yet to know.

And it is all made from Ponies. Ponies properly infected by a magically vile substance called Dark Poison.

I thank you for this drawing. It has helped to crystalize the image of a Changeling long starved for the love of a Pony. Well done to your artist and thank you for posting.

He is simply amazing...

Techinally, my changeling was a pegasus who was kidnapped and changed into a changeling by Chrysalis. Haven't completely fleshed it out as the story he's featured in is on hiatus as me and my co-author are focusing on our Fallout Equestria story.
