How much would a piece like this set me back?

That is a bit hard for me to figure out, as I probably spent 30-40hrs on this pic alone. And I don't think many would like to pay me for that amount of time so I have to practise and get faster

For a piece like this? I'd pay for it. Such detail and work gone into it. This is easily worth around the £110 mark. That's pounds, not dollars :P

Just curious, do you getting any lag when doing this kinds of painting?

wasn't too bad with this one as there wasn't as many layers involved. The bar scene on the other hand started lagging a little when I was doing the final passes and balances

That's an UTE, a typical australian vehicle which is - in fact - very similar to an El Camino (a full-size/large sedan turned into a pickup truck). This one is based on the Holden Monaro, it seems :)

Thank you, I knew about UTE's a little(Top Gear), they even have Chevy v8's. Australia's El Camino lol, very awesome though. I got a 1973 Chevy C10 Step-side and my dad's got a 1969 Chevy El Camino.

Raf is right on the model and pretty similar. And nice set ups you two have!

This really did turn out great, especially considering the fact that you did it under some pretty extreme time constraints in comparison to your usual stuff! Think you did an awesome job with all of the little details and keeping them balanced and not too distracting, especially with the paint spatters on Darryl's jeans, the holes in his shirt, and those exposed steel caps on his boots. The textures on the fence and buildings behind him look pretty swell as well! =D

Sacrifices were made to get these done in time, but worth it looking back as I would of just played CSGO pub's hahaha

Gotta make sacrifices when you work fast! Plus it's learning tricks and shortcuts for future pieces.
And you know me, I love details, hahahaha. Especially when they're also a really great way to tell a story and give insight into who a character is and what they're like.

He's a fun character to paint and think about design wise, and needed to paint the full ute this time!

Just getting it up and running for now, gotta take a deeper look at his gearbox. Other than that, there's a friend willing to push it a little further and work on that 2 liter engine :D

ahh heard they have some things with the gearbox on those golfs, but sweet that you have a 2000cc motor! must be a bit of a power upgrade for you :D

Hmm, the Golf is not such an upgrade in power, my Ka had plenty of energy under the hood :) But it's a nice ride, makes me want to go cruising everyday! If I want to tune it, though, I think there are more parts available :) What about the Nissan?

Ohh didn't know Bolt had a bit of pep , but great hear it's a nice drive too :]

The Langley had to go, failed the warrant and repairs were going to cost more than the car's worth, so out looking for a replacement while I drive my sister's car
