Been working on this for my husband...still have to color him, but BEFORE I ruined it, I wanted to take a picture. ^^; He's a mix between a bear and a wolf, so he's super fluffy with a wolf build and some bear features...dark red/auburn tones and some red markings.

ah, bear-wolf. I was about to ask... :)
the one thing needing fixing is the muzzle front (not too much) and the eye section. but since it's inked there is nothign to fix anymore... maybe with some china white, depending on the paper you use. :)
to be more clear, the right eye looks too much forward, making the eyebrow line looking to be at the wrong angle for the head. turned in too far clockwise, and skewed downwards a bit, too.

aha. :) well, then you're safe. ^_^
as for helping lines, imagine the head like a ball first, roughly spoken. if you move the ball, the ponts where eyes and nose would be, move with it. thus, you'd fist need a line for the muzzle position itself, and from there you can add the rest.
it takes some fiddlign around, and I struggle with it myself. :)
