Man, this is fantastic. I think you inferred the two characters' personalities perfectly - this is a charming expansion on the scene. I'd always sort of imagined them meeting up again later, and spending a cordial (or even romantic, perhaps) evening together, and I'm glad that's the direction you took. Liking the names you picked for them, too. Mike seems like a perfect everyman name, and I'd like that the viewers of the drawing, and the readers of this story, put themselves in his shoes for the best effect.
