Star Crossed is an unrepentant pile of crap with no redeeming features whatsoever. I know this because I recently tricked by Hulu into watching the first ten minutes of it.

The intro wasted five minutes on the most cack-handed piece of shit first contact story I've ever read - and I've read a lot of them. And the series doesn't get better from there.

Still, I've read a lot of first contact stories, since they're a favorite of mine, and thought I'd try my hand rewriting it into something a little less terrible, and which would use equal or less air-time than what actually got green-lighted.
