Thank you very much! Yeah Dave is definitely my favourite male homestuck character aside from Dirk.
I was doing a bit of perspective practice and it was also inspired by a song. (original submission is here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13144662/)
I used photoshop to draw and paint it but the symbol i just stuck that right on there. The background is also a texture from photoshop.

hmmmmm the linework is a bit wonky and VERY hairy (if you don't know what that means then i'll explain), but the colouring, shading and overall fluid "movement" really styalises the picture, the broken pixel record stands out a bit too much though, like it's not on the shirt, perhaps a crease line or some shading on it would make it look more like a print.

my final verdict is; i like it! lol.

Thank you for the feedback! I've been having a bit of trouble achieving the clarity in my linework digitally that I'm able to preform traditionally. It's a long process but I'm certainly getting better at it

depending on how you see it... i would recommend using the pen tool in Photoshop, you can easily draw perfect lines and with practice it can look a lot nicer than any hand drawn line.
