This is a WIP of hi-res colored version of Skyler-Ragnarok's second sketch of my jackal/gryphon 'sona Auric. I really like how his colors look here. Both the sketch and the coloring are by Skyler. The sketch is here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11535569/

So many things are turning out so well in this picture. I'm particularly happy with his nose and paw pads, which are a chocolate brown with gold highlights that smoothly blend with his other colors rather than just flat black (which would tend to contrast).

I'm posting this to scraps so there is an example of a shaded color version of Auric. I made a small edit to his claws to give them a smooth curved shape.
