Oh look I finished something. Wondrous.

I really wanted to get a reference done of Fantine since I’m starting to really enjoy working with her as a character. I’ll probably draw her some more later too. I’m not entirely happy with this, and I could do more with it, but I’d rather just post it up and leave it be for now.
Fantine’s the shy swamp monster. She’s a mix of multiple creatures including fish, reptiles and mammals. She was raised by a human, so she’s not even sure what she is or how her species works.
It’s not unusual to see her hunched in this pose, since running on two legs for her is extremely awkward, and she likes to be ready to run at any time. Even when she’s walking she’s usually hunched over, which also tends to hide just how tall she actually is when standing straight, which is around 6’5. She usually tries to make herself look smaller, usually constantly worrying that she’ll be chased or hunted again if she draws attention to herself. As much as she loves human culture, she’s utterly afraid of being shot and hurt by them again.
I made her tail a little bit too long here, but it’s prehensile and she tends to wrap it around things when she’s bored or use it to help her with chores.
She also enjoys wearing dresses when they’re available, since they’re more comfortable to wear than modified clothing.
