I was so worried about adding color to the blanket, but after brainstorming with a new pyro buddy and reinforcement from my pyro idol, I gave it a go.....and used chalk pastels to color the orange boo blankie!!! I am really happy with it!! I ended up going back over Murphy and darkening him some more to get a closer black cat vibe, he was just looking too brown for me and after applying a couple coats of spray varnish I think he still looks a little too brown but what can ya do? He's still cute =D

Color was added using orange chalk pastels, blended into the wood with my finger and then erasing some of it with a kneaded eraser.
