Preston's full name is Preston Daniel Grey Tatum, but the name is so long that he commonly initializes his middle names. It is the name he uses when he takes this mortal wolf form in order to interact with other mortals. He is in truth the god of magic in Chase's world. Unfortunately, his dress and ideals of magic are always a step behind the norm. The long long years of existence as a deity have essentially made him become stuck in the past. This is why he is always dressed up as a magician. His twisted views of magic have led him on a crusade against magic in the world, ever seeing it as misused. Personality-wise, he is serious, formal, and rather dark or evil, perhaps a perfect opposite for Chase.

To punish those who stand against him, Preston turns his criminals and victims based on various old magic cliches. Rabbits, doves, and pigeons are the general David Copperfield style of magician cliches, for example. Those are some of his favorites. Especially when it comes to turning others into his lovely assistants. Preston really has a thing for beautiful women.
