"Do you think we can make it?" asked the younger of the two wolves, twitching his white-tipped ears.
"No. But we will still try." The older wolf sighed. He stood there since they arrived the border. The cold wind blew harsh and kept tugging on their clothes. The air was crisp and it seemed like you could look farther than the horizon. All in all it was a beautiful day, if there wasn't this bad feeling in his gut.
The younger black wolf shifted slightly to get a better look at the border and the seemingly endless frozen desert before it. His darkblue bird, which he named BlackCrow although he wasn't black, flapped his wings at the movement.
Where did they get themselves into? He asked himself with a sigh observing the white puffy cloud that emerged in front of his mouth.
"Ses..." His thoughts were interrupeted by his older companion.
The older wolf turned his head slowly to the younger one, looking at him with slight concern.
"d'You really wanna do this?"
Ses hadn't moved as he spoke. He still stared at the horizon as if the sky could give him an answer to this question.
"Yeah..." he stated absentmindly. Actually he didn't even has to think about it. He never would leave his friend alone. He knew they won't make it, but deep inside him he shared Leo's opinion. You never know if you can make it, if you don't try it!
With that he stood and faced his friend.
"Are you ready?" Leo asked one last time.
"Yeah." was the only answer Ses gave. It will be the last time they will speak a word to eachother. They had to be quite on their "trip".
He sighed one last time, before he followed Leo down to the wide and empty frozen desert.
Just another randomly made story.
But, hey, WOOOO...I made it. I finished it. And it actually didn't turn out that bad. Snow is hard to draw. But for a fantasy background it looks quiet nice.
Oh and *cough* Let me introduce myself: Ses. The black wolf in the pic. Most peopl call me Ses and although I have a fursona, I have an older one (I created before I got a comp and joined dA). It's actually just a black wolf with white tipped ears, a white spot on chin and chest, white fingertips and a white stripe on back and tail.
I guess the black bird you already know from my last pic. Her name is Ka-y. Because that is the sound she makes. And the dark blue ones name is Black Crow. He's Ka-y's brother.

Yeah, thanks. XD The castle turned out pretty, although I had to work rather small (brush size) to put enough detail into it.
Every artist says, never shade with pure white, but with snow like this, it is a must. Even on the chars I made the hightlights with pure white. Looks so shiney.

Thanks. ^^ Feathers are now another favorite thing to draw.
Uhm, yeah. I actually do the same. Facial expressions are really important to me, but sadly I fail at them completely. Face and hands are the most difficult parts to draw but also the most important parts. I have to practice them more. But it's so hard. :/

i knew the clothing screamed assassins creed for some reason, good thing i read your comments otherwise i would've felt really stupid asking: "are the robes from assassins creed?"
"Do you think we can make it?" The younger wolf asked, his white-tipped ears twitched in the crisp, bitter wind.
Had to rewrite the first line, no offense. I just do that from time to time.
For four days of work, i salute you, i don't have the patience to take more than 4 hours working on one thing.
*Thumbs up* Fave
