I've been figuring out more about Pierce, and this is just something small I wanted to illustrate.

During mating season, when he has the urge to mate, his pupils dilate, putting him into a trance-like state. He becomes heavily instinct-based, but he can also snap out of it if he concentrates enough (which is hard) or some outside force snaps him out of it (which can also be hard). It also happens in his were form.

Things are still being figured out about it, but that's what I have so far. I'm also going with that this doesn't happen if he's sexual outside of mating season.

Of course, his eyes can still dilate when not during that time, but it's only when the dilation stays for more than a few seconds that it becomes known he's in that instinctual state.

In time I'll do a comic that shows this in action. ;P lawl.
