Oh, an Amethyst! I used to have a bunch of those. When I was younger, I wanted to become a goelogist, and got to meet a volcanologist that gave me A LOT of gemstones and rocks like magma rocks and so forth. When I was in high school, I gave them away to the science department, since they were taking too much space anyway, but I still got a few. Would you be interested in me showing them to you?
