If you've been following  Tairupanda's Twitter at all, you might know he's been doing some commissions with giant food items! In my case, I asked for one of my favorite foods - a Ham and Cheese sandwich. And since I'm from the New Orleans area, a lot of people (myself included) enjoy sandwiches on Po-Boy bread. :)

Po-Boy bread is prepared a special way so that the outside is crispy and crumbly, but the inside is still super soft for stuffings, like meats, cheeses, dressings, condiments, etc. I also found out that it's hard to get this type of bread anywhere outside of this area, making it that much more special. Seriously, it gets hard as a rock in two-three days, so you have to use it quickly!

Still, I think Tairu went ABOVE AND BEYOND on this commission, right down to doing a pattern of one of my favorite shirts. He just completed his first set of ten, (http://tulerarts.tumblr.com/post/81.....fun-to-draw-im) and he's doing another set of ten this week. :)
