Because I can, here's the visual argument from my English 141 final. The objective was to create a visual argument that expresses the thesis from my final essay. I think I failed in that regard.

My thesis was that allowing small farms access to the free market would be the best solution to poverty in rural America. I've obviously divided the drawing into two sections. The left section is supposed to be a traditional family farm, while the right section is supposed to be an agribusiness factory farm. Obviously, there are a number of key differences. The cloud on the left is soft, while the cloud on the right is harsh. The tree on the left is alive, while the tree on the right is dead. The ground on the left is grassy (it seems that I couldn't come up with a good way to express that other than those stupid lines,) while the ground on the right is barren and riddled with weeds. The attention grabber, the tractor, is also divided. The left half is somewhat in good shape, while the right half is supposed to be broken down, as represented by the flat front tire and the smoke spewing from the exhaust pipe.

I doubt I did very well on this presentation, but what is done has been done.
