This is adorable and makes me think of a story.
Setting: Twilight shortly after hatching Spike
TWILIGHT: Parenting? None of my studies so far have taught me a thing about parenting!
*Twilight madly runs about her home until she sees a baby picture*
TWILIGHT: That's it! What better way to understand a baby than to study as a baby!
*Twilight runs out to find some parenting books and supplies*
*Time passes as Twilight gets into a diaper and puts in a pacifier. Recalling how the book said pacifiers and clean diapers helps babies relax and take their naps*
TWILIGHT: *Suckling her pacifier as she rocks herself to simulate the rocking a parent would do to soothe and put a baby to bed*
*Shining Armor enters*
TWILIGHT: *Suckling, humming, and rocking*
SHINING ARMOR: Maybe I'll come back later...
